KPKP Agency Opens Free Plant Health Consultation Service

This plant clinic is one of the plant health service facilities from KPKP agency through the UPT Center for Seed Development and Plant Protection

The Jakarta Maritime, Agriculture and Food Security (KPKP) Sub-agency has opened an online plant clinic service for people who have problems caring for or cultivating plants, related to plant pests and its solution.

Jakarta KPKP Agency Head, Suh arini Eliawati said, it could be accessed for free through the site openstreetmap.id/dkpkp.

"This plant clinic is one of the plant health service facilities from KPKP agency through the UPT Center for Seed Development and Plant Protection," she expressed, Monday (9/27).

Therefore, her agency invited the community to make consultation about how to cultivate plants. Moreover, it could give added value.

"This aims to give convenience for those who need assistance, we also want more people to be interested in farming," she explained.

After opening the site, she added, they could choose the plant clinic column and then fill out the form data listed then send.

"At the end of the form, there will be a WA link for consultation. They can consult about pests and plant diseases. Then the officer will provide control recommendations," she explained.

According to her, if further identification was needed, plant samples could be sent to the plant clinic.

"The length of the identification process depends on the level of difficulty," she stated.
